OUR JOURNEY
Founded in 1956, Bhagwan Saw Mill embarked on its journey with the establishment of Mahadev Saw Mill in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, specializing in sawmill job work. Over the years, the company evolved and expanded its expertise, marking significant milestones in the timber industry.
In 1964, the inception of New Patel Saw Mill in Villupuram, Tamil Naidu. Trading of Balharshah, Kerala & Andaman Wood. As the decades progressed, Bhagwan Saw Mill continued to diversify its product range, adding White cedar, Kerala mahogany, and Rosewood to its trading portfolio in 1986 in Delhi.
The company’s commitment to meeting customer demands led to a specialization in offering Burma Teak tailored to buyer requirements in 1992. Notably, the introduction of Rubber Wood in 1996 showcased Bhagwan Saw Mill’s adaptability to market trends.
In the new millennium, Bhagwan Saw Mill expanded its horizons by importing American, European, and African Hardwoods in 2000. The strategic move to set up a sawmill in Gandhidham in 2006, followed by subsequent extensions in 2010, underscored the company’s dedication to growth and innovation.
In the face of changing times, Bhagwan Saw Mill demonstrated its commitment to sustainability by obtaining the FSC Certificate in 2021. The company’s evolution is encapsulated by the construction of expansive covered areas, reaching 35,000 sqft in 2020 and an impressive 50,000 sqft in 2021. Bhagwan Saw Mill’s rich history narrates a tale of continual growth, adaptability, and a steadfast focus on delivering quality lumber products to its valued customers.
